Guidelines for resumption of in-person worship

SAFETY GUIDELINES FOR SUNDAY WORSHIP

1. If you are feeling ill (coughing / sneezing) please stay home.
       • If your health is in an at-risk category, please stay home.
       • If you have any reservations at all about attending, please stay home.

2. We will enter and exit at the front door of the church. We will prop open the doors before and after the service to help eliminate extra touching of door handles.

3. We will be worshiping in the sanctuary to help us keep our distance from each other. We will be sitting in every other pew and ask that you try not to sit directly behind or in front of others.

4. Due to the statewide mask order as of July 23rd at 6:00 PM and until further notice, it is required that people wear a mask in and out of the church building. If you don’t have a mask and want one, Beth Duffield has graciously made masks that you can have and will be available to you on Sunday at the front desk.

5. Hand sanitizer will be available at the front desk as you enter and exit.

6. Please try and use the 6 feet physical distancing standard at all times. Households may sit together.

7. We will have no official ushers or greeters.

8. We will not use bulletins.

9. The Offering can be given as you enter or exit by placing your gift in the offering plates.

10. If you wish to stand and talk with friends after worship service please move outside the building.

These guidelines will be in place for the foreseeable future. In this way we will continue to worship, some in the sanctuary and some at home. As we take one step at a time we will be assured that there will be a day down the road where we can all worship together again.
